Legendary New Orleans DJ/producer made an appearance May 29 on NPR’s Microphone Check podcast. It was an engaging interview hosted by A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad and NPR Hip-Hop editor Frannie Kelley. In the conversation, Mannie discusses the creative process of 400 degreez, even broke out his DJ set debuting a new song called “Let’s Go” off his upcoming joint project with Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def).
