Seventh Annual Louisiana Seafood Cook Off


The Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board is hosting the seventh annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, as part of the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience. 10 chefs from top Louisiana restaurants will compete for the highly coveted King of Louisiana Seafood title and the chance to represent the Louisiana seafood industry at events throughout the year.

The winner of this competition will represent Louisiana at the LSPMB’s 11th annual Great American Seafood Cook-Off Aug. 4 in New Orleans.The event, sponsored by the National Oceanic Atmospheric Association, is the nation’s most prestigious seafood competition and features acclaimed chefs from throughout the country.
